Fox Point Mixed-Use Development
Fox Point Mixed-Use Development – Providence, RI
Project Type: Competition Entry – Urban Mixed-Use Residential
Location: 195 Parcels, Fox Point, Providence
Status: Initial Competition Won (Project not awarded)
This proposal was developed as a response to a public RFP for the redevelopment of a high-profile site adjacent to the historic First Baptist Church and near the 195 land in Fox Point, Providence. The design featured a 10-story mixed-use building with a strong emphasis on neighborhood-scale retail, activated public realm, and high-density urban housing.
My Role: I was responsible for assembling the full RFP submission, including coordination across design, technical, and client-facing teams. I developed all presentational diagrams, site analysis graphics, and design narratives used to communicate the proposal's intent to the selection committee. My work focused on clear visual storytelling, zoning response, and communicating massing strategies within the historic urban context.
While the project has not progressed into development under our team, the experience represents a successful, high-level competition effort and demonstrates strategic design communication and response to complex urban planning requirements.
